FANUC servo amplifiers and servo drives

Servo amplifiers are the catalogue's deepest shelf: the A06B servo modules that drive the feed axes of FANUC-controlled machines. The seller publishes one drive family — AC servo drive and AC spindle drive — so servo drive and servo amplifier searches land on this same page.

Servo amplifiers and servo drives

Two names, one shelf. Sellers and buyers both call these units servo drives and servo amplifiers, and the search results for the two terms return the same A06B product pages, so this catalogue keeps them together: the units below are the servo amplifier modules of the FANUC drive family, and the A06B series page groups them with their spindle counterparts. A servo amplifier takes its commands from the control and delivers controlled current to one servo axis; when it fails, the axis stops, and the part number on the failed unit is the ordering key for its replacement.

The numbers below are the servo listings the seller publishes. Each has its own detail page with the identity and condition information for that number, and the spindle amplifiers page carries the spindle side of the same family.

Servo or spindle: reading a failed unit

Amplifier cabinets often hold both kinds side by side, and the labels are close enough to misread under time pressure. The reliable split is the unit's own description: servo units serve the feed axes, spindle units serve the spindle, and combined servo/spindle units exist — the A06B-6110-H015 and A06B-6250-H011 above are listed exactly that way. Copy the whole number including the H-suffix before ordering; the suffix is part of the identity, and two units sharing a prefix are not interchangeable by prefix alone.

Repair is the other half of this shelf

Amplifiers are the most-repaired family in the building. A failed servo unit can go to the repair bench, where the fault is found on the test bench before a repair is quoted, and buyers regularly ask for the shelf price and the bench price in the same message. The blog checklist on servo amplifier faults sets out what to record before the unit comes out of the cabinet.
