FANUC displays and operator interfaces

The screen the operator stands in front of: CRT and LCD display units, combined LCD/MDI units and Panel i displays. Display numbers live in the A02B range alongside the control numbers, and this page is organised by them.

CRT, LCD and MDI displays

The seller publishes four display forms: CRT displays, LCD displays, LCD/MDI displays — screen and manual data input keys in one unit — and Panel i displays. Older machines carry CRT units that are now the most failure-prone part of the operator station; the catalogue's named CRT listing is the A02B-0120-C051 MAR CRT MDI operator interface, and its named display item is the A02B-0303-C084. The A02B series page lists the display numbers beside the control numbers they are ordered with.

Search intent for displays splits between documentation and replacement. This page serves replacement: the units below are spare operator interfaces for controls already in service, identified by their A02B numbers and by the control generation whose panel they fit.

Display or graphics board

A dark or garbled screen has two homes: the display unit itself, and the graphics board inside the control that feeds it — the seller shelves system graphics under PCBs. The practical split is what the screen does. A screen that lights but shows nothing sensible points inside the cabinet; a screen that shows a clean image with dead areas, fading or flicker points at the unit. Buyers can quote both suspects in one inquiry, and the bench route can test the control-side board if the display swap does not settle it.

Ordering a display

Quote the A02B number from the rear of the display unit and the control series whose panel it sits in. Form matters as much as number: a CRT MDI unit and an LCD unit are different cabinets, and the inquiry should name the form the machine already carries. Used display stock is graded by the seller's condition words, and the used parts page explains what those words do and do not promise about a screen.
