Spindle amplifiers and spindle drives
A spindle amplifier drives the spindle motor under the control's command — speed, orientation and rigid tapping all pass through it. The seller publishes the spindle drive inside the same FANUC drive family as the servo drive, and this page separates the spindle listings so a buyer with a spindle fault does not have to dig through the longer servo table. The A06B series page shows both halves of the family in one grouped table for buyers who hold a number but not its role.

Spindle faults and the motor behind the amplifier
A spindle that will not orient, or that trips its amplifier under load, raises a two-sided question: the amplifier, or the spindle motor behind it.
